Social Media Marketing / WEB 2.0

In addition to establishing a 'social media' presense for your company/organization, our eMarketing experts will utilize WEB 2.0 based techonlogy on which the social media platforms are built to inter-connect and syndicate the content you create. This strategy will achieve the objectives of minimizing the mainteance of your profiles whilst maximizing the exposure of your social media and website content.

Social Networking Sites

Most of these platforms have technology that allow to you connect one to the other to ‘syndicate' content updates across your social network.

  • Facebook.com - Facebook helps you to keep in touch and share content with people in your life. Targets the content (images, video, events, etc) the individual within oneÙs network.
  • LinkedIn.com - Connect the people in your professional network with LinkedIn. Similar to Facebook technology-wise but more focussed on professional networking.
  • Plaxo.com Stay in touch with the people you care about. Similar to Facebook – another major social networking site.
  • Twitter.com -Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? The frequent answer to that question is blast throughout the majority of the other profiles.
  • Konnects.com - Konnects is a place for people building a circle of professional contacts, open to sharing new business opportunities, and looking to fully promote and showcase their capabilities. Another major social network platform such as LinkedIn.

RSS/Content Syndication – generate a content feed (typically a 'blog') that is designed to 'syndicate' your information via 'RSS' to other places on the web starting with your profiles on the various social media platforms. The goal is to create one peice of content to be displayed in many places once published in the master location.

'Burn' your feed - using Google powerful 'feedburner' website, we will take the feed (blog) to be 'burned'. A new Feed URL will be generated allowing you to access the multitude of FeedBurner features and utilities such as 'subscribe via email' and creating popular web portal chicklet (eg. Add to Google button) to enable the 'ping' service that alerts the major search engines and directories that there has been new content published.

Gather Content – In preparation for setting up the various profiles, it is important to gather all related content that would be used to describe the organization and the message you wish you relay.

Create a feed – generate a content feed that is designed to feature the main subject of the project (blog and/or audio/video podcast) and associate the feed (RSS) with the various social networking platform. Content feed updates will be automatically updated where the feeds have been inserted.

Setup

In the setup stage – a focus will be placed on creating profiles on these major sites and establishing audio book related groups and bulletins to ultimately draw traffic to the main website and to collect contacts for our marketing/newsletter mail-outs.

Ongoing Network Building
